Original brand “MARUIMONO” created by the 100-year-old foundry
Released on June 10 as the first generation product

Hicast Co., Ltd. (Headquarters: Itabashi-ku, Tokyo, Kentaro Takahashi, hereafter: Hicast) will start selling the “PIZZA EGG,” a multi-oven practical in the outdoor scene, on June 10, 2020.
● Background of “PIZZA EGG” development
Hicast is a foundry shop established 104 years ago. To date, we have manufactured railways, ships, semiconductor parts, etc., but had no original product developed in-house. Therefore, we started product development in 2016, in celebration of our 100th anniversary, and launched our original brand “MARUIMONO,” and developed the first-generation product, the multi-oven “PIZZA EGG.”
As the name implies, the “PIZZA EGG” can be used to bake pizza, but can also be for barbecues and bonfires.

The egg shape facilitates keeping a high internal temperature to bake delicious pizzas in just one minute. - Various ways to enjoy
Other than baking pizza, a multi-oven perfect for outdoor events such as barbecues and bonfires. - Designed as an art object
“PIZZA EGG” is not only designed for baking delicious pizza but also for visual display. - Casted product with a thickness of 3 mm
By repeating prototype development several times, we achieved a thinness of 3 mm, which is considered difficult in casting.
